WDMS 2025 Successfully Held in Las Vegas
WDMS 2025 (World Digital Mining Summit) was successfully held on May 26–27, 2025, in Las Vegas.
With the theme “HYDRO. EFFICIENCY. Pioneering the Next Mining Era”, this year’s summit focused on cutting-edge technologies and industry trends, fostering discussions on the sustainable development of the global PoW ecosystem and exploring emerging opportunities in the new era of digital mining alongside industry leaders.

During the summit, BITMAIN officially launched its latest miner—the ANTMINER S23 Hyd.
The S23 Hyd. delivers up to 580T of hashrate with an energy efficiency as low as 9.5J/T, setting a new industry benchmark once again.
This marks the first time in the industry that a machine has achieved an energy efficiency below 10 J/T, ushering in a new era of single-digit J/T performance. This breakthrough represents a major leap forward in efficiency, enabling lower energy consumption per unit of hashrate and paving the way for more sustainable and cost-effective operations at scale.

A wide range of industry experts, community pioneers, and thought leaders were invited to speak at WDMS 2025, delivering engaging and insightful presentations.
Matthew Prusak, CEO of American Bitcoin, discussed how participants in the digital asset industry can build effective communication mechanisms with policymakers to address key topics such as regulation, energy policy, and industry compliance.
Alexander Neumueller from the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF) presented and provided an in-depth analysis of the Cambridge Digital Mining Industry Report 2025.
Ben Gagnon, CEO of Bitfarms, offered key perspectives on industry development from the standpoint of a leading publicly traded mining company.

During the panel discussion, Failoni Francesca (CFO, Alps Blockchain), Reza Nedjatian (CEO of Mining, AI & Data Centers, Phoenix), Jake Palmer (Senior Vice President of Development, Hut 8), and Lauren Lin (Head of Hardware, Luxor Technology Corporation) explored the planning and deployment of new hydro-cooling data center projects, exchanging views on both architectural frameworks and practical operational strategies.

In addition, BITMAIN's Mining Farm Technical Director introduced the company’s hydro-cooling solutions and services, which are designed to support various deployment scenarios. The container-based and on-site data center designs aim to deliver smarter, greener, and more scalable hydro-cooling infrastructure

The Product and Business Development Manager for ANTRACK presented its plug-and-play heat recovery solution and shared how the product’s integrated intelligent design helps industry clients achieve energy reuse with minimal deployment barriers.

WDMS has always been committed to supporting the development of the mining industry and the growth of the PoW ecosystem. WDMS 2025 once again offers a solid platform for meaningful exchange among partners and the global mining community.
